My Mourne Mountains Paintings 2015

Over the summer I took some time out to paint a series of abstract miniature paintings, based on the Mourne Mountains, using only a painting knife to create movement and texture. Often the best sources of inspiration are the closest to home and colour palette and mood the views offer here are breathtaking. These were all sold at Ross’s Auction House, Belfast, in their Irish Art catalogue, although I kept one for myself.
