BARBIE week 💅🏼 (part 2)... She would just love our decorations!
The world’s gone Barbie mad, and so have we!
Barbiemania’s at its peak, and we haven’t missed a trick. You’ve been going mad for our Barbie pink shell that’s been hanging around (did you catch the pun) since the beginning. Yes we launched our popping, bright, shocking pink, embroidered seashell made from recycled Irish Linen back in 2019, for a Pretty in Pink breast cancer charity gala ball goodie bag. Then we have our limited edition dinky doughnuts with pink and white glass dot beads - did you spot the doughnut lilies lounging by the swimming pool? Our palm tree sets a blissful Barbieland setting, our Valentine’ Day lips in a mouth watering array of various pinks, our crown to be matched with quilted handbag and stiletto shoes and a jazzy 80s skating boot for good measure.
Inspired by the globally iconic colour, we thought we’d put together a fun selection of all things Katie Larmour Linen alongside our my very own set of Barbie dolls… well, what’s left of them.
A climb up to my parents attic and I was thrilled to find my mother had indeed kept a basket of Barbie dolls belonging to my sister and I - take a closer look and you’ll see bitten off noses, grubby feet, elastic band tangled hair (those which haven’t had the whack chopped off), desperately chewed hands and a few garment rips here and there. Much fun was had at bedtime showing my two year old son Finn with a show and tell trip down mummy’s memory lane. Is 40 years vintage yet?
