Dublin Georgian Door
Dublin Georgian Door
5 x 9 cm
Luxury artisan ornaments created from a source of recycled, sustainable Irish Linen. We use a mixture of vintage, local mill deadstock rolls from one of the last remaining linen mills still active in Ireland today, repurposed antique tablecloths, and off cuts from our own cushion making.
We love our designs and hope you do too- all our embroidered ornaments are fully copyrighted internationally to Katie Larmour.

Elegant Georgian doors are a familiar sight in Dublin and found sprinkled around Belfast. I designed this little cutie in 2019 I was delighted to be invited by the RSUA / Royal Society of Ulster Architects to stock my wee beauties in their bookshop, located at their headquarters in the handsome street ‘Mount Charles’. Created from salvage Irish Linen scraps and embellished with beads and metallic thread embroidery. You can hang these decorations wherever you like!
Here’s a wee snap of a pretty pale pink door in Belfast’s City Centre (just beside Cocouture, one of our amazing stockists who make award winning artisan chocolate treats), wearing my appropriately matched Irish Linen ‘Roisin’ ruffle top in ‘milky pink'. The other is from my travels along the West Coast of Ireland’s ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ in the summer of 2020 where I picked up a super cool new stockist at the iconic world famous Ballymaloe Cookery School in County Cork. How superb an example of a Georgian door is the entrance to their restaurant, where we had a Sunday roast before heading to the shop.
Condition: A portion of our beading may also be reclaimed and might show signs of wear.
Care: Decoration only. Even though they look yummy do not eat. Not a toy. Do not place near a naked flame.
