Ulster Museum Inspired Collection Bundle
Ulster Museum Inspired Collection Bundle
Luxury artisan ornaments created from a source of recycled, sustainable Irish Linen. We use a mixture of vintage, local mill headstock rolls from one of the last remaining linen mills still active in Ireland today, repurposed antique tablecloths, and off cuts from our own cushion making.
Please note we have phased out some of our unnecessary packaging and no longer send this in a presentation box, this is purely for product photography purposed and will be replaced soon. The price reflects the set without the giftbox. Note the bundle is better value than purchasing the items individually.
We love our designs and hope you do too- all our embroidered ornaments are fully copyrighted internationally to Katie Larmour.

This is an assortment box of our adorable all-year-round non seasonal little jewels made from reclaimed Irish Linen, certified by the Irish Linen guild, launched in January 2019. We source unused vintage rolls and factory salvage from one of Northern Ireland’s last remaining Linen mills still active today as well as off-cuts from our cushion and quilt making, adding an element of sustainability to our pieces, and a portion of our beading used is reclaimed. This box set includes 5 pieces - 1. a butterfly, 2. polar bear, 3. Celtic ornament, 4. Egyptian mummy, and 5. salamander.
This exciting Museum themed selection of designs are inspired by the treasures on display at the Ulster Museum in Belfast, Northern Ireland which houses artefacts from nature history and art. There you will find; a spectacular array of iridescent butterflies; “Peter the Polar Bear’ who came from Belfast zoo, was eventually stuffed in the 70’s and has become a local family favourite; an ancient Celtic shield boss fit for a warrior with a traditional interlace pattern; ‘Takabuti’ perhaps the most popular attraction, a female ancient Egyptian mummy wrapped in linen and adorned in beading (how fitting!); a priceless small solid gold salamander shaped amulet covered in rubies from the Spanish Armada shipwreck ‘Girona’ discovered off the North Coast of Ireland. This is the ultimate luxury unique gift set. (If the box set is sold out we may also have the individual decorations available separately).
‘The Museum Collection is very special to me as I grew up nearby and we would visit on Sundays with the family following the footstep stickers on the floor and viewing all our favourite things, then as a student I worked in the Ulster Museum getting to see behind the scenes. I think it’s especially fitting to create the Egyptian mummy in Irish Linen seeing as she was wrapped in layers of linen and Belfast was centre of the Irish Linen industry, I have also covered her in beading which reflects the beading she is encased in.’ Katie
Condition: A portion of our beading may also be reclaimed and might show signs of wear.
Care: Decoration only. Even though they look yummy do not eat. Not a toy. Do not place near a naked flame.
