The oak tree is sacred in Ireland and symbolised by the ancient Irish Tree of Life. In Celtic mythology the importance in nature and connection with ancestral spirits is directly linked to this beautiful tree. I designed this piece because I love magical forest and woodland walks throughout Ireland. The leaf is a lovely token of such a majestic tree, and something you can take home with you.
